Ein Projekt von 4 Menschen, zwei Paaren, in einem schönen hundertjährigen Hotel, respektvoll, einfach, unkompliziert, bio-vegetarische Küche, fantastische Lage, ideal um zur Ruhe zu kommen, wunderschöner Seminarraum.
J'ai découvert la Pension Beau Site à l'occasion d'une retraite de Yoga - lieu magnifique, en dehors du temps. Super accueil de la part de Carole et du chef. C'était parfait.
Cadre enchanteur, particulièrement favorable au ressourcement.Cuisine végétale créative et gourmande. Équipe accueillante et sympathique. Quelle belle découverte!!!
We were very and happily surprised to discover this vegan (and vegetarian) haven in the mountains above Martigny. The food was excellent; excellent variety with many different flavours, spices and ingredients. The vegan fondu au chocolat was fabulous.||||The accommodation is good and the rooms spacious and warm. Shared bathrooms/shower-room is a setback but not tragic.||||The team were always available and helpful. They are very knowledgeable of the variety of mountain walks available. They can help for equipment but highly advice to bring your own or rent. Very good buy/hire shop in Martigny. Pelissier Sports.
Un lieu magnifique, le bâtiment date de 1912 et a gardé des parties d'époque en plus de multiples rénovations. C'est un réel havre de paix et de jovialité. Les actuels tenants sont adorables et aux petits soins !
Les chambres sont cosy, la literie est top, les salles de bain toutes propres et les toilettes adorables. Les repas sont montés avec un ascenseur à nourriture d'époque et sont tous healthy, vegan sauf erreur et savoureux !
Après 3 jours passé ici, on a qu'une envie : y revenir !
p.s : belle balade de 2h depuis l'hôtel vers le col des Planches (paysages à la fois de pâturage, forestier et rocailleux).
We’ve spent some lovely days at Hotel Beau Site. We visited in December, and the area was fully covered in snow. We found the sorroundings astonishing. We were able to enjoy downhill, backcountry and cross-country skiing, all within less than a 15-minute ride from the hotel. We did some cultural outings, also, and we specially recommend Chillon’s castle (Château de Chillon). Hotel Beau Site offered wonderful facilities, perfect cleanliness and full comfort. Having shared toilet facilities (available on each of the 3 or 4 floors) proved to be no problem. There was a sink in the room, which was totally convenient. The staff were welcoming and gave us useful hints on what to do and where to go. And the meals we had were healthy and delicious, served in a beautiful glass-sorrounded wooden room. Totally recommended! My wife and I will consider visiting again when it is green all around.
I recently stayed at the Beau-Site whilst on a meditation retreat and it was the perfect setting for such a venture. The hotel is sited in the picturesque village of Chemin-Dessus, a half hour bus ride from Martigny which can be easily reached by train direct from Geneva airport. The backdrop of mountains and alpine forest are peaceful and picturesque - the perfect place to getaway from it all. ||||The meditation hall was large with a smooth wooden floor and huge window overlooking pine woodland and distant mountains. The hotel is run by four people, two men, two women who speak excellent English and have an ethos of wanting to offer something different from the run of the mill hotel; the reason I think why it has become a centre for retreats. However, there is separate accommodation for families and they welcome children as well as independent travellers.||||The food was all vegetarian, varied and delicious. I really had the feeling that those working in the kitchen put love into their work. They used home-grown vegetables and only the freshest, best quality ingredients. ||||The rooms are simply furnished, clean, warm and comfortable. I was on the top floor and there was a communal toilet and separate shower at the end of the small corridor. There were bathrooms on each of the other two bedroom floors.The bathrooms were not allocated to either gender which meant that as a mixed gender group we had to decide between us how to divide them up. We managed this without any embarrassment! ||||This is not a hotel for someone seeking luxury, ensuite bathrooms or sophistication. But if you want a taste of warm hospitality and simplicity in a breathtakingly beautiful setting then it is the place to go.
Lieu magnifique, j'y suis allée dans le cadre d'un stage de yoga en été. L'ambiance est magique dans cet hôtel du début du XXème siècle qui a gardé de son charme. On se met à imagine alors comment le tourisme se développait à cette époque. La salle de yoga a une grande baie vitrée sur les arbres, c'est idyllique. Départs de randonnées depuis l'hôtel à pieds.
L'accueil est chaleureux, le suivi discret mais efficace, tout comme j'aime. Et la nourriture (et je ne suis pas végétarienne) est délicieuse!!!!!! Le chef a toujours une alternative pour un plat sans gluten, sans lactose, sans tomate. Bref, quelle que soit l'allergie, il y a toujours une solution!
Pour les amoureux de la nature, de la tranquillité, du romantisme!!
