Very good service did a diagnostic on my car booked in now for a fix but quite confident he will do a good job seems very professional
Really friendly and happy to use diagnostics without charge but mis-diagnosed the fault and told me the problem was the EGR valve. Luckily they never got back to me with a price even after me chasing them up and them insisting they would call me back. I took the car to somewhere else and the issue was a leaking intercooler pipe and a blocked air filter. Fixed for less than half the price too. Good result for me but wasted my time going here
Came here as local to me and a Volvo specialist. Needed wheel bearing and CV boot replaced. Just arrived at the garage to collect the car and noticed a newly refurbished alloy wheel with big chunks out of it. You could see it’s fresh. I cleaned it before bringing it in yesterday and they were still immaculate. Tried to drive the car and no power steering ! Auxiliary belt snapped. Very strange. To be fair it had a lot of cracks in it. After some negotiation I got a new belt fitted at the expense of sorting the damaged alloy out myself. The owner is a friendly likeable guy who knows his stuff ! (Just needs to take a bit more care ????)
Bought a transit tourneo that had been mot tested by this garage. The seller listed it for sale exactly one month after having it tested. It should never have passed it's mot, unfortunately I could not report them to vosa as a month had passed, also I am 50 miles away. As well as considerable corrosion which I have spent £500 repairing, the seat belts are ripped, anti roll bar bushes loose, brake pipes heavily corroded and have burst, leaving me stranded and plenty more. Good job I don't live nearby, I would not trust them to fix my wheelbarrow!
I have used this garage for 13 years since setting up a business. We have 5 vans and 2 cars, all of which are maintained and serviced by this Horwich motors. Generally go above and beyond. Heard nothing but great reviews from anyone who uses them.
