Friendly staff, easy to book a table. Lovely food that pleased a wide range of ages and tastes. The mango lassi was much appreciated. Not licensed but you can take your own alcohol. Good prices. Recommended Lots of takeaways going out when we were in the restaurant
Magnificent meal! My shank was fabulous and so was the biryani, we will visit this restaurant again and again! Taking our own wine cut the cost of the meal. Great service and very friendly staff.
Today was my first visit to hornsea tandoori and it did not disappoint. Thought I'd give it a try as it's new to town and seems to be very popular. I ordered a takeaway and I had the chicken pakora starter which was gorgeous and the nawab Khana main which was full of individual flavours the chicken was so tender it was like it had been slow cooked and you could taste the individual spices and the rice was also very lovely. The best curry I've had in a long time 10/10!
Please don’t waste your money! Ordered takeaway last Saturday after 2.5 hours it arrived cold! The whole point of takeaway is not cooking right? So after reheating it the food was at best mediocre. After spending £42 I did call to complain. They first offered me a discount like I’m going to pay half price to cook my own food so promised next delivery would be free. Hold the press… I ordered tonight & apart from charging an eye watering delivery fee they held true. That said I only received half of my cold, nasty tasting takeaway after nearly 2 hours & the person on the phone thought I was at another address (obviously not the only one to experience this) Needless to say I will never be calling here again & would highly recommend that you don’t either!
Our first time of dining here but we went on recommendation and weren't disappointed. No alcohol served here but that didn't matter.
Food was divine - we both had starters & mains but really struggled to finish. Since our visit we've recommended to friends who then went and were also impressed ???? ????

Up in Hornsea on holiday and took a gamble on here, (although the reviews were good, so wasn't too much of a gamble), so after a busy day sightseeing and walking the dog on beaches the wife and I fancied a curry. We had a takeaway of the Chicken Handi Bhuna and the Bombay Johl with Pilau rice and a couple of naans...TOP NOTCH....we were both really impressed with our meals. Price was really good. Just as I said TOP NOTCH.
Amazing food. The best outside of India and on par with London and Bradford. We've had take away and eaten in. The food is delicious, fresh and authentic. Definitely recommend!
Food was amazing. The best place for a curry in the area. They were extremely busy so we did have to wait quite a while for our food but it was worth waiting for.
