My wife and I had the most delicious lunch today in Horatio's. The lady who served us was absolutely delightful. The atmosphere was lovely, everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.
It was very busy and all of the food we saw being delivered to other tables looked very good. Food envy ????
The cakes and scones on sale looked wonderful. These have to be tried during another visit but then breakfast looked tempting too....
A lovely find in Holt, with an amazing selection of homemade cakes. Not one too miss. Friendly, accommodating staff who do give service with a smile.
If you love cake… you’ll love this tea room ❤️
Me and my partner had lunch here, we both had the beef, mushroom and ale pie. Was absolutely delicious, perfectly made and cooked. Set us up for our day trip around Holt. Has wide range of choices with lovely atmosphere and staff were really friendly, helpful and accommodating. Will definitely be going back
Lovely cafe in Holt for lunch. Really wide range of choices on the menu and, for Holt, quite reasonable priced. Service was fast and friendly. Food tasted fresh and of great quality with well sized portions. Would recommend the Brie and bacon panini - delicious.
Only dropped a star as we went in quite late and so it was only us and one other table in there which were right next to us. Without any music etc felt a bit like had to whisper but i’m sure that’s just the time we went in!
Great food and wonderful service.
Just be lucky as they get busy really quickly.
Great food, service also good, at a nice price. Don't think ul leave hungry! Cakes are massive, like ya gran used to make ????
Hearty portions and a good veggie breakfast with fast service. Only thing is: it's a bit pricey. £11.50 for a fry up! This would be acceptable if all the produce was local and homemade but it felt more greasy spoon than artisanal cafe. Like I say, that's what I was after but I was surprised by the price.
Have been here before and have found it very nice, but today it was extremely busy and it took nearly an hour to be served our soup, panini and jacket potato. When we came to pay the lady who took our money was very curt, chewed gum constantly didn't ask if we had enjoyed our meal and was basically rather brusque, therefore no tip and won't be back! We are local people.
