I have been getting my own, and family prescription from this pharmacy for 20 years plus the service has always been excellent, Richard the Owner and his staff have always been efficient and helpful my medication has always been ready and waiting. I am more than happy with the service. Unfortunately not enough customers review when happy only take the time when they have a complaint.
After being warned about the behaviour of the male pharmacist who works here (middle aged), I chose to give the benefit of the doubt and try my luck. Unfortunately I was wrong and should have gone elsewhere .. he was unwelcoming, unprofessional and unsavoury! I’ve traveled across the UK and internationally and visited medical institutions from all sectors, and the behaviour of this man at the pharmacy was substandard to say the least.
AVOID! The senior pharmacist man who served me was utterly rude and disrespectful. He was condescending and not somebody who should be aloud to deal with elderly or vulnerable customers. If you must go, only deal with the lady pharmacists.
I went in this evening to get some steri strips after cutting my eyebrow area at work, the pharmacist very kindly offered to patch me up, after being turned away from three others in mid Sussex. Very grateful for such good service. Thanks!
Love this pharmacy. Best one in Burgess Hill by a mile. Staff are always friendly and very helpful.
Excellent, above and beyond customer service from Hopkins following a problem with Boots being unhelpful and unable fulfil my prescription for two weeks. I called Hopkins and they explained how to get the prescription returned to NHS Spine (database) so that Hopkins could retrieve and fulfil the prescription for me. Hopkins located my prescription and had it ready to collect immediately. I've now changed my nominated pharmacy to Hopkins.
One of the worse experience. I bought some medicines through NHS prescription and after payment when asked for the bill/invoice to be able to submit for insurance, They outright rejected my request. I insisted asking them it as customer right to get a bill, but i was denied rudely and asked to go away and complaint. I dont know where to complaint about this as my insurance company will not reimburse it without bill.
Today I phoned 111 as had run out of medication and Boots only received the prescription on Monday and could not do anything. 111 told me they will make a prescription to Hopkins Pharmacy London road. I then went there unfortunately there was no medication but what was amazing the Lady decided to find me medication from other pharmacies which boots failed to do, there was that concern for my well being. The lady couldn't understand why boots were unable to help me so she phoned them and miraculously boots had the medication. Without the kind staff at Hopkins I wouldn't have got my medication. I am now switching from Boots to Hopkins.
