Have used this Chinese takeaway over the years and it has never disappointed. The food is always tasty and has always been consistently good.
I don't tend to have an overly salty mouth after eating like other Chinese restaurants/takeaways.
1st time visiting tonight and was very impressed. We had various of dishes , chicken balls , beef and mushrooms, chicken curry, chow main , salt and pepper chicken and more and all was spot on. Best chinese food we've had in months. We live in cannock and think we've found our new Chinese ????

I live in Handsacre nr Rugeley, i do have my own Chinese takeaway the Good View. However since covid its opening hours are reduced big time. Only open Wednesday to Sunday 10pm max closed the rest of the time. I went to my Lichfield favourite Chinese Tuesday this week only to be randomly closed until Thursday, the Lombard. Very dissatisfied i wanted a Chinese. I drive to Rugeley and have a think. Mmm what do i do? No to Wing Shun curry like water no way. Petes kitchen nice food but curry is light yellow no thanks. I thought well there's only one left, it's been with us 40 plus years had good reviews on Google let's go, it's worth a whirl lol. The Hong Kong Rugeley Fernwood Drive. Ok here goes, i asked for my favourite, duck curry egg fried rice extra spicy, extra onions. Chips n Curry large in a tray. Omg i got home to find a gorgeous smelling thick dark rich curry sauce that tasted spicy out of this world
The Duck was full meat hardly any skin or gristle absolutely amazing. Here goes the egg fried rice was fried extra with alot of flavours, not like some still white. Absolutely gorgeous rice, my chips n curry was outstanding lots of curry in my tray, definitely not dry. I love this Chinese takeaway so far. I can't wait to try my next favourite, Singapore chow mein extra hot with extra Singapore flavour. Bring it on Hong Kong. You guys are good.
After putting out a request on Facebook for the best Chinese takeaway in Rugeley Hong Kong take away was the most popular. Yes it was the best take away I have had for a long time. Highly recommended.
Still awful food, haven’t used for ages due to poor & inconsistent cooking, coupled with being overpriced for the quality. However, them being local and us late night working amongst other things tonight, we decided to play safe and just have a curry & rice, how can they get that wrong we thought? Well, they did. No more than 8 small pieces of thin chewy beef, no peas, peppers or mushrooms. Just shed loads of onion in a watery tasteless sauce, soggy spring rolls but the fried rice was ok… so annoying as their prices have gone up so much, yet the standard has gone down beyond repair! Will not be using again after this.
Ordered a meal for delivery at 7pm. Rang at 7.50 to see if we could get an ETA. Was told it was out for delivery. Half an hour later it had still not arrived. Didn't fancy it at this point thinking it had been driven around for half an hour, bearing in mind we live about 3/4 minutes away so rang again and cancelled. Would prefer it if people would just be honest and say they'd forgotten it, at least you know where you stand.
Service good whether you order in advance, have delivered or call in. Food always nice and hot. Would recommend.
First time and last time will order. Had better meals for less £25 for dinner to be thrown in bin waste of money.
Crispy chicken in plum sauce tasted like lemon sauce and very watery. Chicken was like eating rubber. Chips tasted like battered fish and the rice was like cheap packet rice.
