Food is always absolutely delicious, but our Shanghai Chicken last night had a thick black hair embedded in the crispy coating, which I only noticed near the end of my meal as I turned the piece over to cut it. Neither of us could then finish our food and I don’t think we’ll return. Sad times.
Ordered a takeaway so cannot comment on the atmosphere but the food was very tasty, hot and fresh when it arrived. The best Chinese takeaway in Cowes. The only negative comment to make is our order came to £45 but we didn’t get a free bag of prawn crackers!
Whenever we visit Cowes a takeaway is a must from Hong Kong House - delivery times are great but the food is even better - 5 ⭐️
Offer free delivery within a 2 mile radius which I live just inside that. But they always charged us for it, then said they weren't going to deliver to us anymore as they are too busy, why offer a service then refuse to do it. We always spent alot of money there most weekends but stopped using them about a year ago.

Lovely food. Prices were really good too. Definitely recommend the chop sueys! Loses a star because they forgot our boiled rice! But was not disappointed as the rest of the food was really good.
Food is really nice from here again. This is the first time I have been back here for about 3 years, as the previous owner's cooking was really bad, and all the meat just tasted like it was flame grilled, so I stopped getting food from there. These new owners have really turned it around, and it will now be my preferred Chinese take away again.
Great service, quick to deliver, and no processed chicken (unlike the other local takeaways!) Likewise to another persons recent post - haven't ordered from here for 3 years due to the quality. Quality is back, service is great, very competitive price to the 1 around the corner, say no more.
