Food really is lovely, however I was let down by finding a hair in the curry! :( shame as it's been a childhood favourite place and has a 5 star hygiene rating. I know things can happen and owners have changed, but I can't give it 5 star after finding this. Despite all the bad reviews and this could be a one off, the food is still good.
Pretty reasonable takeaway, generous portions for the special set dinners. Friendly and helpful staff, you can ring ahead and have your order ready for collection. Note: Cash only and a closed on Tuesdays.

I would give zero rating if I could. He hung up on us when it’s clearly his mistake. He gave us the wrong dish but when we called asking for compensation, he told us to bring the food back. We were 30 minutes away so we told him we can’t do it, but he should compensate us nonetheless since he screwed up the order, when we return next day. He then just hung up on us. Never buy from this place.
The man received the call for takeaway had poor service! It's contradictory that he insisted on receiving cash only but still asked which way I wanted to pay! When I replied if I could pay by card or transfer, he insisted on receiving cash only! Moreover, he had known the prices of their menu here were NOT updated but still did NOT update them! Being from Hong Kong, I knew their so-called Kung Po chicken was NOT authentic, it was just made like sweet & sour chicken. When requested to refund, that guy said rudely "No refund" and also cut the phone line absruptly! I'll never order from them again.
Sorry, I can not share about the food, I never got any. Drove 4 miles to get to only to see a sign on the door saying we only take cash. It's 2023! Who carries that much cash? Went to the chippy instead! The only reason a store would not take cards now is for tax dodging.
Great takeaway. Friendly staff. Of note takes cash only. Well recommended
After reading reviews I was slightly sceptical. We had a really tasty takeaway. Friendly lady taking phone order and although I didn't go to collect it apparently they were also very pleasant. Would recommend and will be returning.
