Amazing food! Our family loved it. Also it's great value for money. The spring rolls could literally be a meal on their own. The selection of starters is great, as is set meal A
Not a huge fan, I get its fast food but the chicken was oddly slimey and tasteless. Also when I paid they dont accept card and the lady who took my order gave me old £1 coins which is isn't legal tender no more. Don't think I would return I ordered due to not having anything in. I guess beggars can't be choosers.
Strouds first and oldest Chinese takeaway. Family run business and excellent service. The food is a classic Chinese takeaway style. Good value and quality.

This is the worst Chinese I've ever had. We went there because of the 4.4 in reviews thinking it would be good. The chicken and cashew was tasteless and the chicken looked slimy and weirdly white like it had been frozen or something before cooking. The vegetable chow mein was again tasteless my wife had to add a lot of soy sauce to get any flavour to it. I had the Singapore chow mein one of my favourites. It just tasted burnt and spicy but there were no chillies in the dish making me wonder where the spice came from. It's a shame really because we had high hopes. Sadly we will not be going back here.
ABSOLUTELY DISTGUSTED!!! - Extremely disappointed, ordered vegetable spring rolls to be served salmon spring rolls! We have a child with a fish allergy!!! This could have resulted with a trip to the hospital or worse!!! To top the situation off, they tried blaming us twice, at first refused a refund, then tried blaming us again when we went back to collect only a partial refund! Lucky they dont have a law suit on their hands. AVOID!!!
By far the best Chinese takeaway I've ever had. Friendly staff, reasonable prices, and food that is always excellent. Notably, the crispy chili beef is always excellent, but also consists of mainly beef, compared to other inferior restaurants that have portions mainly consisting of vegetables and sauce.
Cannot recommend highly enough!
Reliable food and good customer service , which is all you can ask for. Tried several different items from the menu and so far not found a fault with any meal we have had.
