Has been our usual Chinese takeaway, however this evening we placed our order at the counter (only 3 items) and waited whilst numerous other people both placed their order, got served and received their food before we got ours. Had to say something in the end and and was told "it's OK, it's cos I know you!" That's absolutely not acceptable.
First time ordering from here food is delicious and good portion sizes. Chips were nice and chicken curry. Only couple things which aren’t great they don’t put a bag of prawn crackers on the order foc that other Chinese takeaways do. And also they only take cash which is really disappointing everyone uses card these days. It’s put me off ordering from here again which is a shame.
We've moved to a new area and this was the closest Chinese, can safely say we won't be going any where else , it is banging , the service on the phone it lovely and the food is lush.
After being turned off at two Chinese restaurants and having no other choice or patience to chase another I went for the takeaway! Mixed feelings about the food, soup was tasty and also the crispy duck, no complain there! Now the beef was a big hard and the prawn noodles I haven't even touched it, a hair on top of the food wasn't very charming! The staff were really nice and helpful, top marks for them!
Poor service, food terribly salty, they don't accept credit/ debit cards... I wonder why? The guy at the counter tried to overcharge me... I have asked for half portion of Sweet and Sour Chicken... which is £5.70 and the guy asked me to pay £4.10 instead of £2.85 ( please see the pictures )... when asked why he bluntly replied that this is how they charge...
Definitely a no go...
Takeaway was excellent, food was very freshly prepared (piping hot) reasonable price - very busy place which shows how good it is. Definitely recommended!
