Avoid & go to Happy Chef along the road. Ordered special fried rice & the meat was so measly & chopped up into pieces smaller than your thumb nail. Rang shop & was told this is how they do it. See photo for how small meat is. Dry disgusting mess with no flavour or any meat. No refunds no replacements. Only take cash hmmmn wonder why. DO NOT ORDER from here take ur custom elsewhere for a meal that’s edible
Bir disappointed lately with this Chinese, they recently shut down due to renovations it said on their voicemail but nothing has changed visually now it’s back open, however they are charging more and the quality isn’t there anymore, my favourite dish of honey chilli chicken used to be incredible but now they have changed the sauce or something because it’s so vinegary it’s not edible! And just tried the munchie box since the closure and the sweet and sour sauce is more watery and the chicken/chips weren’t nice and the ribs are so fatty with barely any meat on them! Only good thing is the prawn crackers, will unfortunately have to find a new Chinese now!
It’s got to be the worst Chinese iv ever had like so bad it was inedible chilli salt and pepper was well over salted and had some weird spices on not like any chilli salt and pepper dish Iv had in the past the house special in Cantonese sauce tasted like cinnamon it was disgusting seaweed was terrible noodle were mushy and horrible someone recommended this place to me like I wish they hadn’t of bothered never again worst Chinese ever like really bad wish I had of believed the reviews DO NOT USE THIS CHINESE DONT WASTE YOUR CASH IT WENT STRAIGHT IN BIN!!!
Food was tasteless.Hard re-heat chips,curry sauce watery & tastes of nothing.Chicken is shop bought ready cooked slices,hard microwave rice.Munchie box rubbish food also.phoned to complain & "Nothing they could do".could hear so called "chef"ranting. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.NASTY FOOD &they couldn't care.
???? ask for curry sauce to be extra hot and they wanted to charge me an extra £1...taking the piss.. never going back to this so called takeaway!!!!!????????

I love these guys ❤️ Peking chicken wings were amazing too! Hands down the best chicken wings I've ever had from any Chinese. Will drop a Christmas card across next week ????

Another lovely meal from Honey House tonight. The lady in the takeaway also gave me a calendar as a Christmas gift, which was a lovely gesture. Will definitely be having another meal here before Christmas, so I will wish them a merry Christmas when I next visit. Thanks again for the great service and lovely food ????

Ordered from Honey House tonight. Second time ordering from here and the food was lovely. I was originally going to order the half roast chicken, based on another review from here, along with the Singapore fried rice, but on phoning, the lady told me that the roast chicken is no longer on the menu. In haste to make a quick decision as to an alternative, I ended up ordering the king prawn Kung Po. I was glad I did, as both the Kung Po was delicious, as was the Singaporean fried rice, along with the rest of the food. It was a fairly big order I put in, and Honey House did not disappoint. Also received a complimentary portion of spring rolls! Friendly staff :)

First time trying here tonight. Ordered over the phone and food was ready on collection. Friendly staff, and the place is clean inside. They are not on Just Eat or any other online food ordering service, which is a good thing for both the business and customer, so no extra fees incurred from both sides. Just phone up and place your order. Simple. They do offer a delivery service. The food was wrapped well and was piping hot. The portions were also generous. We enjoyed our meals. This is a no frills Chinese takeaway offering good honest food at excellent prices in the heart of Wallsend. I'll definitely return to Honey House.
I took my food back. ..the worst Chinese I've tasted in decades. ..the chicken was raw ..or what ever meat it was ..they were very rude. .I asked them to taste it. .and they both refused to eat there own food. ...vile and descusting. .food and staff x
I ordered from here today and was quite possibly the worst chinese I've ever eaten.
The beef and black bean sauce was chewy and fatty and also barely warm. The chicken fried rice had no flavour and also the chicken was cold.
The only thing i did enjoy was the curry and salt and chilli chips which were piping hot.
I rang to complain and was told to bring the food back in for a refund.
I'm not an unfair person and did not expect a full refund as i ate the chips and curry
The chef/owner was not happy with my complaint and was very unprofessional infront or other customers and made the point she just didnt care, She only give me a refund of £7 and no apology as i ate some of the beef and also some of the chicken. (Which is why i complained) You need to taste food to determine if its good or bad.
Since eating the food a few hours ago I've also been feeling sick and hope the chicken or beef was not spoiled.
Avoid this place at all costs unless you like preheated food from the night before.
