Had an amazing ham salad sandwich, although I was curious why they had Willy biscuits and why they were right next to the pig biscuits ????
Pretty average. I guess if you were hungry. There’s a better bakery in the area and even the bread at the CooP is better.
It’s a bit overpriced too.
Staff are nice enough and it’s pleasant inside, but not much to recommend it with better options nearby.
Steak slices to die for, scones are the best around. Hate to see negative postings about this Bakery. Think they do really well for the range of goods they do to say it is literally all home baked! Appreciated by me anyhow.
This is a throwback to when bakeries were proper and baked everything on site. Although the whole place looks like it needs a makeover and a timer is needed on the baked items eg pies and tarts are well done to burnt. The sandwiches are excellent and I think here is why they still do business. Staff are indifferent to rude and little or no effort is made to clean up the place.
Don't bother. Go to cottage bakery just off the bottom roundabout instead, genuinely it's a million times better. A pity because this place used to be very good, sadly that's not the case any longer.
Friendly service good value.
Wonderful food, bread cakes were delicious and the steak pie tasted amazing... lovely local bakery!
