Loves everything here! But our family favourites are the pies, hot cross buns and ginger bread. The prices are also make total sense.
Apart from the great taste, we also love the friendly and familiar atmosphere at the shop. Totally recommended!
The meal deal is so much better than the tesco or sainsbury one. The sandwich is prepared when ordered, and ingredients taste fresh.
Lovely little bakery. The staff are so friendly and kind too. The £3.60 sandwich meal deal is amazing value and the sandwiches have a lot of filling in which is nice. Totally recommend this bakery!
£2.80 for a lunch as good as this. They have a wide selection of drinks cakes and sandwiches/pies you can choose any 3 things you like (Excluding some bottled drinks). The sandwiches are made fresh to order using the bakeries own bread can't recommend enough.
The lady at the front is really kind, cheerful and overall a great person to talk to. The store sells quality cakes, that sre freshly made, and their bread is probably the best I've had in Southampton(lived her for more than a year). Would totally recommend, I wish they were open later on the day so I can buy more. :)

Friendly service and nice to see a small bakery still going. For years I was fascinated with this place and desperate to try it but always found it closed. Today it was open so I bought a 'hot' sausage roll from a dubious-looking warming cabinet.
Server used neither tongs nor gloves but picked my to-be food up with her hand- before which I saw no evidence of washing.
Nonetheless, heat would make it relatively safe so I took a bite. Outside pastry was just tepid but the middle was stone cold. Left it in the kerbside bin. My fascination has faded.
The best sandwiches and pastries out there, and the two ladies running the shop are some of the loveliest people i have ever met. I love having conversations with them whilst getting a Torpedo Deal.
