Best coffee in Hitchin, this is what they say.
And it is. Very flavoured and well served. Hot and tasty.
With two small tables outside and big space inside with tables.
Good service, clean place and very close to the town centre.
Tucked away just off the market square Hitchin Coffee Lab undoubtedly is worth a visit. Welcomed by a very friendly girl who made me a very smooth flat white. They also sell their coffee which is roasted in Hertfordshire.
Coffee and cinnamon roll were delicious and inside was spacious enough to sit down. Plenty of vegan options. A shame that the coffee only comes in one size which isn’t that big! Staff were friendly enough but didn’t seem to interested or enthusiastic about the place.
Edit! We went back and had a much better experience.
Came into town to find a nice place to study and grab some lunch. Gorgeous food and lovely atmosphere. The coffee is to die for.

The staff here are lovely and very welcoming. The service was excellent and the cinnamon scroll was delicious! Came here today and there was a rude customer who entered the store angry. One staff member was very apologetic and returned with extra tea pots for a friend and I after the whole matter. Will definitely be coming back again after how lovely the staff treated us.
Nice vibe. Good coffee and a very tasty sausage, bacon and egg in a brioche bun!
