Arranged to drop a car in today for them to assess whether they would be able to help regarding an Intelligent key problem. Despite giving full details of the problem over the phone they seemed none the wiser when I turned up. This was confirmed when they couldn't even manage to start the car I'd driven there. After no more than 10-20 minutes during which no problem was solved and no useful information was given other than that they probably wouldn't be able to fix it, they had the gall to charge £87.00. I won't be going back.
Update: 1hr at the main dealers had it fixed. Seriously, if you have electronic issues give these jokers a miss. I wouldn't trust them with a rusty rollerskate
Friendly. Did a good job on my son in law's car. New steering rack. Price ok slightly longer to repair than stated but they said they have problems waiting for the rack.
Second time here and again very happy customer. For me one of the best things is how quickly issues are seen to, diagnosed and fixed, which is not easy to find. Pretty much within an hour of turning up, both times. Very reasonable rates. Trustworthy, professional, friendly..excellent all round.
Booked car in for MOT. It had been stood for 18mths but had just had new rear brake pads fitted by another garage.
It failed on rear brakes. Advised Hills it had been stood & possibly something seized. They insisted it needed a new caliper as the dust cover was missing (not noticed at the other garage so unsure where that's gone or when) but refused to change just the caliper. Insisted it needed new discs & pads too.
Just had it looked at and re-MOTd elsewhere & it was a sticky handbrake cable. Freed up, no parts required.
I had a very positive experience at Hills garage today. My battery died so I asked them to help, they came the same day, restarted the car and once at the workshop replaced with a new one. They were both very informative and transparent. I was very pleasantly surprised when they told me they didn’t charge for labour and coming to my house. Highly recommended.
Fantastic service, dropped my car off for MOT and was done by lunchtime. Friendly and helpful would highly recommend.
I recently had repairs carried out on my car, and being a single mum was apprehensive of finding a very trustworthy and professional garage I was astonished by the transparency and care taken.
