After a nasty cycling accident and an unhelpful visit to A&E where I was just directed to my dentist with damaged teeth and a badly cut mouth, I was welcomed by all the staff here with such empathy that still makes my feel emotional! They looked after me by giving me such sympathy and understanding when I was devastated about my teeth and also still in shock. My usual dentist (Mark) fixed my teeth there and then and did his best to stitch up my mouth even though it was probably the hospital that should have done this. He then made sure I got a follow up call a few days later to check that everything was okay. I did have to go back with a further problem the week after, as the most obvious damage started to heal, and I was seen within days by the other dentist (Nicky). She also treated me with such empathy and understanding, really proving that everyone who works at the practice cares about those in need. All the staff (reception staff and dental staff) are my absolute real life heroes and I cannot thank them enough for the support they gave me not only on that horrible day but for a good couple of weeks afterwards
I can highly recommend this dentist especially Nikki Varo, having a phobia of dentist was a challenge but Nikki and staff put me at ease straight away. I was well impressed with my treatment and end results. Can't thank Nikki enough.
After breaking a tooth six months ago and being unable to find a dentist, I had given up until I contacted High Street Dental on a whim. Initially I thought I was going to loose what remained of my tooth. However after expressing my concerns to Nicky she has been able to save what remains and remove the severe discomfort I was experiencing.

I can't rate these guys enough! Nikki, Mark, Mark's wife. What a wonderful team. Had a impacted wisdom tooth extracted - they were wonderful.
Can honestly recommend nicky as a dentist all day every day. She's straight to the point if she can save your teeth she will put the work in. She's brilliant.
A fantastic dental practice. The staff are very friendly and professional and most of them have been there for a long time. My dentist is very friendly and experienced, he did awesome job on my root canal. My family are seen by the other dentist, she is also experienced, very respectful but firm which is great for the kids. They are on their best cleaning and non-sugar routine weeks before going and after their appointment.
Highly recommend the practice.
Nicky and Mark are like two zombies! Upbraiding customers who don't floss and the way the way they look at you makes you want to scream and get out! Better go elsewhere.
Mr Speight told me after a tooth extraction that a small root tip had been left and if he attempted to remove it I would look like I had gone 15 rounds with Mike tyson. No problem with that at the time as I have always been happy with his work. That was approximately two years ago. I now have pain in the area. I mentioned what had been said at the time and have been told I misheard. Does anyone have any idea why he would deny what he said to me? It makes no sense as there either is no root tip there, or, after an x ray there is proof. Its the denial that's puzzling, as Mr speight mentioned the aforementioned root tip again several months later during a second extraction. I must have misheard again!
A week after the above have now had an x-ray, clearly shows a root tip.
