The food itself is great, well seasoned and quiet filling. The customer service, however, is horrible, with no professionalism in terms of reception and service, and thats besides the horrible wait time when they literally put your food in the microwave. From the girl on the counter the people making the food, no polite "welcome in" or anything, no "hope you enjoy" or "come again"
They just make you feel like you're being a bother... a very "give us your money and leave" kind of environment.
We had a fantastic experience for our first meal in London! We ordered oxtail stew with rice and curry mutton with roti. Rate 10 out of 10!! Delicious! We also received above and beyond service from the owner. A must go place if you visit Portobello Market.
Portion size small and not enough flavour. Feels like Jamaican food without a taste. Such a pity because the staff is fantastic but it’s a no go for me.
Honestly THE BEST restaurant I’ve been to in London and probably top globally for me! Had a lovely chat with the very kind owner, the food was delicious! Loved the oxtail stew the best, goat & jerk chicken & everything else was fantastic! You can feel the love through the food ☺️ a must stop for anyone in or visiting London

Ordered jerk chicken through Deliveroo. Excited to try authentic JA food especially as the reviews were mainly good. But I'm absolutely disappointed with the jerk chicken the sauce was pure oil and no jerk seasoning, not even a touch of spice as it should be. The chicken was dry and the rice and peas is basically plain rice with hard kidney beans which gave it the red tint of colour.
If you had proper Jamaican food you would know this ain't it.

Great authentic Caribbean cooking in a delightful setting. I had the Jack Fruit Brownstew on my first visit and the Ackee and Spinach today. Service and food was great, nice decor too. I'd be happy to recommend this jewel in the heart of Portobello Road Market.
