Very pleasant and beautiful pub on the river. Food was delicious, though a lot of items were out of stock and the service was slow, especially with drink orders. Otherwise it's a nice place and imagine it is very popular in the summer on the decking area overlooking the river.

It may have been drizzly outside, but the atmosphere inside was warm and friendly. They were able to cater for large groups with various dietary needs, which is still something of a rarity with regard to vegan dishes. Food was of a high standard, evident by all the clean plates at the end, and the staff were attentive, friendly and efficient. On a clear sunny day the outside areas will come into their own being next to the lake. Overall a very enjoyable afternoon with family, and well a worth a visit in the future.
Went back for a meal after not going for a couple of years after a bad experience. It is our local after all. Pleasantly surprised. Food was amazing, service from the young chap outstanding and was relaxed atmosphere.
Lovely place. Visited for Saturday lunch time.
Sat outside and enjoyed the view. Service was great. Highly recommend the fish and chips and tiramisu.

Lovely views, top notch service and great food. You couldn't ask for more. The burns night meals were fantastic.
Worst steak ever! Have you ever felt very disappointed with a meal? Well, today I got to experience this and I felt cheated. The quality of the steak was poor and tasteless, not what I would expect from a £27 cut that was supposed to be aged. The quality of the cooking was also poor beyond belief. But hats off to the staff; removed from the bill, no questions asked. For service, you get 4 stars. But a message to management: you have a serious problem with quality control and the produce that you are sourcing. Steak is a cornerstone of restaurants like yours; you need to get it right. Today you massively under delivered but made up a little bit for it with service. But the damage is done when you have bad food, unfortunately.
The chicken supreme was AMAZING! so garlic-y! The mulled wine was very bitter and very strong of star anise. The crumble was a big let down. Was just a layer of oats and a very sour filling. This is not a crumble if the 'crumble' is just oats....
