A beautiful trail that takes you close to nature and away from any noise or pollution for a while. There are 3 ways to get onto the trail which slowly take you upwards. It is best to wear suitable footwear as terrain can get muddy.
Beautiful Place...nice & quiet...Stone circle, empty reservoir, rock face cliff, nature, see the wind farm on the hills in the distance even Manchester city centre. Best to park on the main road and walk down Toad Leach Lane thru the gates...not far!
Great easy hike.. amazing view
Beautiful place found this at the end of our walk! It's like a mini stone henge with lovely views and clean fresh air I walked around the pond at the top of the hill as well ....would definitely recommend for fitness or just to clear the mind a little bit brought some friends along too for the company hear they are sat on the stones taking in the views of Rochdale
Long walk but worth it. Weather was hot 2 sheep were hiding under the centre stone for shade.
Interesting place, old stones of dubious ancestry. Great views.
