I had an appointment and went to the pharmacy to get a certain inhaler for my asthma which has put me in hospital 3 times in a month. The pharmacy purposely put stickers all over my medication so I couldn't see any information and when I took the stickers off they purposely gave me the complete wrong dosage and tried to cover it up. Very unhappy as this is NOT the first time they've done this.
The attitude on some staff is rotten. Some are OK. But they never know what's going on. You ask a question about the medication and Get members of staff mumbling comments. Always behind.
My mother received a message saying that her prescription was ready, two hours later we turn up expecting to be in and out as it should be ready, 20 mins later and we're still waiting, awful customer service, do not recommend. There always seems to be at least 5 staff in the back, normally on their phones doing F all. Get your prescriptions online, its alot easier.
While we were in there another woman was complaining about how rubbish the service was in there, the apparent pharmacy manager came out and started having a go at the other lady who admittedly wasn't being great to the employees still had a right to complain, the "manager" did nothing to de-escalate the situation and even threatened to ban the individual from the pharmacy (was quite funny when the lady told her she didn't care as this wasn't her pharmacy and she was in for someone else, the manager walked off at this point in a huff)
Overall avoid this pharmacy at all costs.
Staff and friendly and professional and is clean and well kept. However, the sheer time it seems to take for anyone to collect a prescription is absolute madness.
Counter staff are typically always useful and friendly. Lochlan (Assistant Pharmacist) is accommodating.
Unfortunately, Suki (the Main Pharmacist) is rude, and shows no care towards her patients/customers... and staff.
She seems to think it is appropriate to shut the pharmacy early, before closing times - With no note on the door, prior notice via Facebook / posters etc. When I arrived to collect my prescription, she had just locked up. She continued to get in her car and drive off. Leaving me there without my prescription.
Lochlan made contact with her via the phone, and reopened the shop to give me my prescription. I was very grateful for his care. I felt sorry for him that his boss (Suki) left him to deal with the situation.
Clearly has little respect for her own staff, and customers. Not the first time she has shown signs of rudeness.
I visit this pharmacy every month or so, and I have always found the staff to be helpful and courteous. My visit yesterday was no different, and in the face of the huge challenges of the pandemic they had my medicine ready for collection and were also able to sell me hand gel and face masks at a far better price than I recently bought some for on the internet. Thank you and please keep up the good work.
Very disapointing service today. Was using them for 1st ( and last ) time after being refered for urgent meds by 111 service.
Pharmacist was a locum so unable to access the system fully however wasnt aware of this until i was made to call 111 twice further to chase up script and ask for my NHS number, beliving it to be 111 error. I was made to feel very uncomfortable and awkward, then discovered it was actually his lack of security access ! Left chemist feeling upset and inconvienienced and having to travel to Bearstead to another chemist ! Not good.
Such poor service every time with my repeat I was told Monday my medication would be ready for next day went in yesterday and my medication wasn't even there which delayed things and all I got was sorry I will have to wait until Monday I said that I really needed they today and locom Suki tells me I don't sound like I'm having a day so I have to wait until Monday.. when I said I would report her and make complaint she said go ahead I will have my report and I will be believe and put phone down
