Shocking!! Took my car for M.O.T. and servicing. Spent £893. Changed rear Caliper, pad and disc. It passed M.O.T., but 2 days later, had to spent £500 for urgent repair due to one of the wheel producing burning smell (caliper stuck). My question is- what did you check on MOT? it passed but did you not put it on the ramp and run it on the roller? When I rang for help, not willing to talk at all. Complete ignorance. I used this garage one year ago and it was excellent. That's why I went back. But, it's not the same anymore. I don't write review often but this one pushed me to the edge.
Needed 2 new tires fast, called them in the morning gave me a quote on the phone and had the tires ready when I was on my way home. Fitted fast and really good value for money. Highly recommended!
Edited 2021: having a second visit to Haynes, I am still as impressed with the service as the first visit. They know what they are doing and clearly enjoy it. For as long as we are in the area, I will never take my car anywhere else
Took my car in for a MOT.
Claimed my brakes had less than 1.5 mm left on them
turns out they had 6MM left on the ones advised to be replaced. 1.5MM is min legal requirement.
Bulbs from number plate lights also missing, so not sure where they went.
Had the car checked over before taking it to Haynes and they said the bulbs where in there and working.......
Haynes garage is so more than an excellent garage , when my wife who was a front line workers through the lock downs window in her car broke and she was worried how she would get to work, a car was provided for her for over a week at no cost so she could keep doing her job but at a cost no doubt to them.We would never use another garage and I can't recommend them enough. Try them you will never use anyone else again
