Absolutely delicious fish and chips. Very light crispy batter. Perfectly cooked chips and plenty of them. Lovely peas and curry sauce. Excellent service by Alia.
Unfortunately we can not recommend on the simple basis we never got to buy anything....we arrived in Masham mid afternoon for a 4 night break and highlighted Harry's Fish and Chips as our Saturday night meal, so with log burner light and the bottle of wine open, we ventured down with meal orders in hand to Harry's Fish and Chip Shop, arriving at 6.54pm, we walked into the open door where there was already 2 customers to be told we are closed...but the sign in the window that we noted earlier says closed at 7.30pm and the counter has lots of supplies within, reply was sorry these are all taken for, even although it states food cooked to order!!!
So word of warning if you are staying in Masham and want some fish and chips you best go at 4.30pm when the shop opens otherwise like us you will be turned away. ☹

Crispy batter, non greasy & great portion size! The best we've had in a very long time. Curry sauce was fab too! Friendly & helpful staff. Would definitely come again, worth the 1.5hr drive ????

First time here last night. Really lovely fish and chips. The fish had a really crispy light batter and the chips were some of the best I have had from a fish shop .. Would definitely recommend .
We stopped here as all the sit in eateries in Masham were closed for food. So glad we did as the welcome, service and food were all superb! Standard menu for a fish and chip shop but done very well, especially the chips and the battered haddock. You could have it open or wrapped and in compostable containers with wooden forks and choice of condiment pods. Very friendly and polite staff as well. All in all proof of how good it was, they were queued out the door on an early Thursday night.
A brilliant fish and chips shop in the centre of Masham. Got a fish and chips from here and couldn't finish it all it was that big. My fish was wonderfully cooked, crisp and bubbly batter and tender flaky haddock on the inside. It was delicious.
Kids loved their meals too of sausage and chips and scampi.
It is located in the main square in Masham just on the edge of the car park.
