Don't take your car here for a service, the customer service is terrible!
I didn't get a phone call to say my car was ready to collect so I made my way there on my own accord as it was getting late and with it being a Friday I didn't want to be left without a car over the weekend. When I got there the car had been serviced, washed and was ready for collection, they just forgot to call and tell me. I then had to sit and wait for about 30 minutes for someone to print a report and give me the key. There were over a handful of customers waiting to collect too with some waiting longer than 30 minutes. There was a guy there who dropped his car on Monday and hadn't received received any form of communication since then.
Anyway upon handing over the car, the service advisor Devina reported that the glow plug on my control unit needed replacing so they were going to submit a claim to Extended Warranty to see if it could be replaced under the warranty. It has now been 4 weeks and I have not heard back from her. I have called multiple times and on four separate occasions I've asked to speak to the manager but the receptionist Monique won't put me through and can only take a message, but yet I still have not received a phone call.
I only went here because all the other service centres had a lead time of at least 4 weeks but I should have just waited. Spare yourself the trouble and avoid.
Terrible service and terrible warranty policy! Try and stay away from Audi in its entirety!!
I took my Audi A5 in for a radiator leak and they diagnosed this as a stone hitting the radiator causing the leak. No evidence of the "stone" or "rock" no Audi cam footage no nothing but yet the audacity to try and charge me £1000 for a new radiator. Took it to Halfords who said its a faulty pipe and should be under warranty - there was no evidence of a rock or chip and its purely a split in the pipe - he also mentioned there is no way a rock could have got into the under carriage. Again just Audi/Group 1 Auto trying to make some money in this case off the back of a cost of living crisis!
Harold wood group do not seem to want to fix anything under warranty anymore nor do they provide you adequate evidence that your radiator is leaking due to a "stone chip". This seems to me like a get out clause of the warranty. Oh and also they charge you just shy of £1k during a cost of living crisis to change the radiator!
Thanks Harold wood Audi! Really taking customer service to the next level here! i was expecting a higher bill!
TBH maybe audi/Group 1 should advise actually building a radiator that is sufficient to withstand stone chips or rocks from the road given that cars typically belong on roads as well as placing the radiator in a more suitable position so that the car doesnt suffer from "stonechips" and cause extensive.
Also they say the car is safe to drive to thier site (Bates industrial estate) and then when you want to take it from them it doesn't become safe anymore. Really convenient that is - once again thanks audi/Group 1 auto for wasting my time!
Monica was extremely helpful, however I would avoid this service centre. Seems to me there’s a bunch of cowboys working on the cars, if you value your car you would avoid!!!
I normally dread my yearly service at Audi Harold Wood due to the poor level of custom service I have experienced. The staff have always been very young and they didn't really know how to speak to customers very well, I'd often walk in and they wouldn't even acknowledge that you're there. However, today I was greeted with a smile from a lovely lady called Devina. She was extremely professional, welcoming and friendly. It was nice to walk in and feel that I was in capable hands! Thank you so much :)
I had to take my car in due to an engine light. Got booked in quiet quickly and was dealt with a lovely lady called Devina. My car was in for a few days and she kept me updated on everything. She was absolutely fantastic! Great customer service and easy to get a hold off. Really pleased overall with the service!
I got to tge service centre at 7.30am everything went well at check in, staff were really nice especially Bruce that did my service, he was extremely thorough and went through every single thing on my car. I couldn’t have wished for a better service anywhere and felt safe in the knowledge that it was done properly.
I have been going to Harold Wood Audi for 3 years now for servicing and maintenance work with no issues and overall good service. However, my recent experience was a nightmare. I dropped my car off for a service and the way cars are parked is unacceptable, literally parked on top of each other as there isn’t enough space for the amount of cars. When I collected my car, I noticed the front bumper was dented and scratched. I called Harold Wood Audi and brought it in the next day, a member of staff came out and took some pictures and told me I would hear back in a week and given a quote at a reduced cost.
I haven’t heard back and went and got it fixed elsewhere, I won’t be going back to Harold Wood Audi moving forward. It’s a shame as I usually have had good service over the years, hence not giving a flat out 1 star review and think 2 star would be more fair.
