We happened to drive past this place and lost our minds about being able to get tacos somewhere on Skye. We were NOT disappointed. We got the beef brisket tacos and the lobster tacos and holy moly! So good. Absolutely worth the trip. The chips were great, too!
The photos don't do the food much justice (bad lighting), but it was delicious. Portion size was generous (my tacos were STUFFED with fish), and you can see the massive fish and chips in the photo. Very tasty and highly recommend stopping by. Took less than 5 mins after ordering.
Also the owner is a great dude - very friendly and welcoming. He opened Harlosh Takeout bc he lost his job as a head chef bc of COVID. The chef skills show with the food quality and cleanliness of the food trailer. Can't go wrong supporting this business! Perfect stop around Dunvegan or in/out of Niest Point.
Delicious food, can highly recommend coming here! The lobster and mackerel/cream cheese tacos and the triple cooked chips were immense! ????
Was looking for something a bit different on our last night on Skye and definitely wasn’t disappointed.
Food was excellent, especially the lobster tacos.
Highly recommend to anyone who is in the area or passing through.
We had really amazing fish and chips from this takeout ran by a really nice guy. If you are in the area I’d very highly recommend. I’d also recommend the pavlova if it is available. Yum!
Honestly, this was one of the best meals we had in Scotland. We had three different dishes, including the fish and chips, and all were fantastic. The fish and chips are fried to order. The beef tacos and the mackerel tacos were both spectacular. The owner was extremely friendly and gave us some hints on where we should sit and eat. I would highly recommend going here, especially if you want to get away from the crowds in Portree.
We ordered two fish and chips which were amazing! Made to order but only took about 5 minutes with really lovely homemade tartare sauce on the side. Chap is also very nice and bonus, he takes card payments! Recommend if you are in the Dunvegan area. Be careful which postcode you put in to get there, he’s on Glendale road next to Kenny’s Garage.
Great quality food. I had the beef brisket tacos with onions and mint. My husband had the fish and chips. Lots of extra home made additions like tartar sauce. Quick service would highly recommend and have done so.
