Nice car park on the shore front. Great place to park if you are going for a wander or, in this case, capturing the aurora borealis.
This is the beach-side place to park for free in Maidens, and it has a ChargePlace electric car charger for 2 cars, now always in use. Needs more!
The carpark is ideal for Ropes cafe, walking along the sandy beach to Culzean Castle and park or simply gazing at the sea!
Ropes has a toilet, but it would be good to have a toilet building adjacent to the carpark or alongside the beach, like the one in Dunure.
