Delicious home made soup and freshly made sandwiches.
Would have scored 5 stars but slightly too long a wait for drinks and then food to be served.
We've visited twice whilst in the area, so it isn't too big an issue, just don't be in a hurry to go anywhere afterwards
Staff nice. Food slightly over priced for what I got. Soup and sandwich combo. Nearly £9. Could understand if the bread was thick or the bowl was big but both very disappointing. The soup was tomato but tasted like vinger and sugar couldn't eat it all. Would of complained but the waitress was too nice would of felt bad
As visitors to Kirkcudbright, we were very happy to see some cafes and bistros open again for lunch and we took shelter from the cold, grey weather in the welcoming Harbour Lights.
Relevant Covid measures still in place and carried out as expected. We were lucky and got a table at the window to watch the world go by. The location is central in the town with views over to the river.
We both ordered sandwiches and study drinks, which were prepared and served quickly. I had coronation chicken with a healthy pile of tasty filling and side salad.
There was a decent choice of menu and I'd certainly visit here again of we are back in Kirkcudbright.
Reasonably priced, beautiful tasting and beautifully presented food.
My husband and I thought this a really lovely little cafe/restaurant overlooking the harbour. We both ordered sandwiches and my husband had soup. All the food was really good and seemed to be prepared with tasty home produce. There was also a welcoming ambience with very friendly and helpful staff.
Incredible spot, whenever I have the fortune to be in Scotland I always go here. The food is delicious. And the owners are fun to speak with, assuming they are not in a bad mood in which case the service is super quick!
Great wee find. Dog friendly and great service. Food excellent. Kids loved their puddings (we all did:)) and a fair price. Be aware the chilli is VERY hot!
