The go-to chip shop in the area. Never had a bad meal from there, food is always spot on and portion sizes are incredible. The staff are always friendly and well mannered too, and speaks volumes that I drive past 6 other chip shops just to make the journey to here for a chippy tea! 10/10
This is not a chip shop I use often as it’s not my closest, However after tonight I most definitely will use more . I had a small problem with my order ( easy mistake) I went back to the shop and they sorted it with ease and no problems. Absolutely fantastic service. Just how a business should be Run !

I went back after a long time. I really fancied some chips only ????. I ordered cone chips thinking ???? should be enough for myself. When I received my chips it looked like a large chips ????????????. I ate for 2 days and still couldn't finish it all. The chips were amazing. Love the taste. Lovely and very friendly boys work there. Quite nice place too☺️. Clean and tidy ????. I will definitely go again. I hope they will have kids portion options for me ????????????????
Simply the best chippy in town, a large selection to choose from, cooked to order, the food is great, the portion size is very generous, prices are good and the staff are very friendly.
First visit tonight by chance whilst looking for somewhere to walk the dog.
Staff very friendly and welcoming. Portions large. Chicken kebab was amazing, so tender and lots of salad, chips were top notch too. All was piping hot! Will def return again. 100% recommended
First visit 20/07/23. Out for the day motorcycling. First impressions seeing the place it all looked a bit run down - but a great spot. I had fish with mushy peas both of which were lovely. The batter was very light and the fish cooked to perfection. The young lass serving was very pleasant and efficient. If you did the frying - well done! Plenty of easy parking, quiet spot with a park opposite. Benches to sit on outside and bins for the rubbish - great.
We stopped at the laundry next door and couldn't resist a fish & chips lunch. What a surprise that it was so good in such a hidden place. We're not local and live on the coast where the fish should be top notch but this place was better. Why can't all chippies provide fish this good and fresh and the chips were really nice too. The place itself was also really clean. Cannot fault!
