Ordered before several times and food was fab. Ordered last night and got no cheese on the cheeseburger or chips in the order and the chef obviously thought that the order of salt and pepper chicken only consisted of hot chillies. We love spicy food but it was way too much. Couldn't taste any salte and pepper seasoning at all only chilli. 2 battered fish and portion of scallops were swimming in grease. We had to use kitchen paper to try to make them edible.
Sorry to leave this review. This chippy is usually spot on. Maybe the chef had an off night. ????
After ordering on a few occasions when trading as “happyhouse” no complaints food always hot fast and accurate. However I have now discovered the company have now been taken over, which I will never order again l. When submitting my meal and reiterating my requirements (which turned up wrong) after calling the shop to discuss no apology nor any good will gestures. Lesson learnt won’t order again !!!!!
