Other than the chaos that ensus when u walk in as you have no idea who has been served or who is waiting to be served. The staff are great, fast, efficient, and won't leave you floating in limbo. The place is clean and tidy with excellent food. I have been using this chippy for about 20 years. Highly recommend.
Absolutely disgusting attitude of staff , staff member followed me out from the chip shop to confront me to ask what as to what I said very unprofessional and in uniform also ,
A lady ordered sausage chips and gravy with other things staff member charged her for a fish and also dished Fish chips and gravy in a tray , when the lady said no I ordered sausage, staff then it all out the bag opened the fish chips and gravy, threw the fish in the bin wrapped it back up and gave the lady a sausage.
Unreal you would of thought its okay keep it we will give you a sausage as it's only going in the bin what a waste of food and a disgusting manner to handle customers!!
Unless you want to get served by kids with attitudes and boss who thinks its okay to follow customers Do not go to this chippy

Not a chippy I'd been to before as its not that close to home but I will be going again. In my Husbands words, best chippy tea he'd had in a long time. Everything was freshly cooked and the fish was so tasty. Service with a smile too ????
Always a great place for a takeaway. The chips are amazing and the fish cooked to perfection in a lovely golden batter. Peas are very green and tasty.
Ordered from here for the first time, delivery was fast for a Friday tea time & can only say was the best fish, chips & peas we have had for a long time.
Generous portions, hot & fresh & cooked to perfection, will definitely be our first choice chippy from now on.
Had to queue for food, no issue if your getting fresh hot food, but unfortunately was not the case. First time there whilst baby sitting grandchildren so a chippy tea was called for by the kids, will you see me again at the happy frier, unfortunately not.
Been to this chippy many times food is very tasty and value for money, staff always seem very polite and friendly and engage in conversation when they can ???? highly recommended 5* ????
food is spot on, very well cooked and very tasty, and the staff couldn't be anymore friendly and and couldn't do anything more to get your order done as quickly as possible. would highly recommend this chippy
