Sorry to say Halima seems to be on a downward slope. Has always been fantastic in the past. Twice recently I have collected phoned in orders and got home to find items missing. The chicken rezala is top notch I must say, but the main course Veg curry was mainly potato peas and sweetcorn. Onion bahjis over cooked and cold and Aloo gobi was lots of aloo and a few scraps of cauliflower. Spent £40 (Inc 10% discount) and not seeing good value here at all. Very disappointed.
Just mooved to the area . Ordered a chicken pattia. Rice and nahn bread and onion bhagis. Ive eaten currys most places in between bognor to Portsmouth and this was a nice meal. Good value also ????
On holiday and fancied a take away. Don't bother. Told half hour to forty minutes ... make that an hour. Food order was wrong. What came was bland and tasteless. Phoned to pay as they forgot the card machine and mentioned one of the mains was wrong. Getting shouted at and hung up on was not what I was expecting. Rubbish food rubbish service. Only called back as they where going to charge the site we are staying at !!
As a local this is our nearest go to for a curry, the food is really good especially their Chicken Naga for spice lovers. Their food tastes fresh not reheated. The only thing I would say is their delivery service can take a while, we live in Bracklesham but delivery has taken well over an hour and half when we have ordered. The curry is worth it but I would say make sure you order it sooner than other takeaways.
Starting with 3 stars because of the price. 10% more than London, after a 10% cash discount. I'll reconsider after I've tried the food.

Have used Halima for years as our go to takeaway delivery to Nunnington Farm campsite, always recommended to anyone who asks.
However, ordered at 7.28pm tonight, they said it wld be up to an hour as they were busy. No problem! After several calls between 8.30 and 9.30 they kept saying it was on its way……. Over 2 hours from ordering and never sent! They kept lying and because of this we will never use them or recommend again. Always had good service and honesty but can’t trust them. Avoid if you’re hungry!
Quick friendly service, amazing food. Always had excellent service and food! Until a year on and how things have changed. Couple of weeks back asked for a delivery only got some of the meal. They said they wouldn't charge me for the missing items next time fair enough! Today told 45min wait before delivery. Phoned after hour quarter abruptly told they are about to leave. After over 2hrs got no food and no explanation ????. Very disappointed indeed!!!!!
I have been fortunate enough to eat Indian foods around the Uk including Leeds, Birmingham and London. In my opinion the food at Halima Take away in Bracklesham Lane beats them all.
We always look forward to one when we come to visit.
