This was my first time at Karry's. Setting up an appointment was easy; I arrived and was immediately sat down with no wait. She gave a spectacular haircut, and was very conversational as well. The prices were beyond reasonable ($25 for a haircut/beard trim), and I will definitely be returning. I could not say a single bad thing about the experience...
Walked in because I saw no signage on the door like before saying that it was "appointments only". Was then told it was appointment only which is fine and understandable and when I said I was available the next day a wednesday, the barber told me the only available appointment was on a friday at 3pm. I told her that I work thurs-sat and was met with a blank stare and no next appointment date suggestion. apparently she was booked indefinately hmm... Mind you she was just watching tv, not even in an appointment...
So after a long confusing silence I said I would just go elsewhere. Oh well...
Avoid. Walked in she was socializing with someone, I asked if I needed an appointment and she told me to wait until she was done with her conversation in a not very friendly tone. Literally could have just said "No, have a seat" in the same amount of words and could have been more professional. Made me feel extremely unwelcome. Walked out on the spot.
My first time here and the service is excellent! This is a small, homegrown real barbershop. I felt like a valued customer and the cut is excellent!
Karry is great. She is a really down-to-Earth person and great to talk to. I probably don't even need anyone to cut my hair. I could probably do it myself with my own clippers, but I am really happy to support Karry's business because I genuinely like her and think she does an excellent job. And there is something about getting your hair cut while having conversations with a nice person while they do it. I highly recommend her. She has an awesome dog, too.

Its a quaint little place, but Karry is quick, gives a hell a hair cut and has the most adorable emotional support dog there to give you cuddle or just pet. Prices are better than reasonable although i always tip her big cuz she is that good and makes you feel instantly comfortable and at at home!
I walked into Karry's an hour before closing and she happened to have time to help me out. I was very satisfied with my haircut and the straight razor shave on the neck was a great touch. Great conversation.
