Very happy with the service provided by Tony at HVS Ltd. Trustworthy and genuine. 6 month warranty was honoured and I now have a van that seems to run perfectly.
Needed a new second hand van and I was so glad to have found Hadham motors. Quality vans at a great price and Tony the owner couldn't have been more helpful. Defo a 5 star service.

As a single (not over mechanically minded) female, it's often and probably easy for vehicle sales people to take the piss. I've had a bad run with vehicles; I've heard it all too "this will look after you", "you'll enjoy this" "it'll last you a lifetime". I've always had to constantly replace my vehicles due to some lies fed to me when I bought them: chemiweld in radiator, leaky engine, dodgy repairs etc etc.
And then I bought a van from HVS. When speaking to Tony on the phone he was honest, upfront and genuine. I arranged to view last minute (as is the way with me!) and he was prepared, friendly and honest about the vehicles he had available. Even on my limited budget he assured me about the mechanics of my new red van and even wrote a guarantee to come with it.
The day after my purchase I had issues with the battery, after over a week and 4000 miles across Europe this was probably as I hadn't locked it properly or something at my fault. Frustrated that I thought I'd been conned again I rang Tony immediately who explained to me that the van had switched on no issue the day before and instructed me to charge the battery and to buy a spare. I complied... I'm so glad I did - I've driven across Europe (to Norway) in my new van and it's truly amazing. I could only afford an older van to my limited budget so was worried about the economy but it's been so cheap and I credit that to it's good mechanics. Tony was and is the first dealer who's been 100% honest with me and I genuinely think he was upset to hear I'd had issues when I rang the next day. The fact he answered his phone on a saturday and took the time to calm me down and explain what needed to be done separates him further from other vehicle dealers.
I will be looking to upgrade my Van later in the year and I really hope I can purchase off Tony again. He was a 2hr30mins drive from where I was based but I'd happily drive 6hrs+ as I know the service I'll be receiving. Even if his vans are a little more expensive than others, he adds a guarantee to their engines which shows how much faith he has in his vehicles and ultimately shows his honesty.
Once again, thank you to Tony. So grateful to have had this experience and I'll certainly be returning myself.
Have used the MOT place for years until last year when I took the car to another place in Bishop’s Stortford for it’s Mot that was a mistake as had advisories ( although the car the week before Audi had serviced the car and not noted anything wrong.
So returned to Hadham MOT this evening and it passed with no advisories.
Brilliant old fashioned service , highly recommended.
Always busy but straight and fair as they dont do repairs. I haven't used anywhere else for many years. Book early they can be well booked up being so popular.
We bought the luton Van from Hadham in March 2023, literally couple of weeks after purchase battery went down, obviously it was not covered n warranty but i rang them and spoke to Tony, who was very helpful and posted me new battery, 100% recommended seller, last month i had few mechanical issues and Mr Tony again compensated us. Hadham is the only trader i had positive experience since i am buying vehicles. Thank you very much hadham….
I brought a mk6 Ford transit, from Tony, there was a slight fault, Tony was very professional through the whole process and the fault was repaired on time with no problems. This guy is a true professional and knows his stuff, highly recommended take my word for it. Not your typical trader, great van.
We (Special Branch tree surgeons) purchased a tree surgery ready Land Rover fairly recently, it's been an excellent investment. It's a work horse and performs just as advertised, we are very happy indeed. The man in charge is genuine and trustworthy, which are crucial traits when used motors are involved!
