Tried this takeaway for the first time on Saturday and weren’t disappointed. Portions are very generous and really appreciated complementary spring rolls. Would definitely return - best of all Chinese takeaways in Northallerton.
Normal Chinese Takeaway closed so tried HK food was great, really enjoyed the Singapore Vermicelli. Went and ordered it there and was ready in 10 minutes. If you are going its cash only
Super fast preparation and lovely food. Generous portion and normal price of our usual order. Lady on counter very polite and friendly.
It Taste so chemically, the prawn still had there shell on them. Has an oven pizza the night before wish I just stuck to the frozen counter.
The best Chinese takeaway in town. Always great service. Staff polite and friendly. Food is awesome.
However, on two occasions recently we heard a man shouting extremely loudly and angrily in Chinese from the kitchen as if he was bawling someone out or having a blazing row ?? That made us uncomfortable and my daughter was petrified by the shouts which was totally unbearable.
We could see other customers in the waiting area were not happy with the angry shouts.
Such bad experience put us off going there again.
Had a lovely meal from HK this evening! Very generous portions, the salt and pepper ribs in particular were delicious! Very reasonably priced for the size of the meal and the lady we spoke with was lovely too. Cash only but we were told this on the phone when ordering so not a problem. I’d highly recommend this takeaway and will use them again.
Ordered sweet and sour king prawn two weeks in a row now and both times managed to fry it to death. Once I can take but twice Jesus. No way of posting anything but positive massages on there Facebook page. Foods generally been good when they first opened but recently gone down hill.
Food is great, staff lovely. Menu is very extensive, and the portions are very generous. NOTE: Cash only, no card payments.
