Probably the only reasonably priced petrol on the A30. Even cheaper than the garages around Padstow and Wadebridge.

Stopped here and bought a packet of biscuits (£1.75)and a bag of crisps. Couldn’t see the price for the crisps but guessed they would be a couple of quid at most. Didn’t realise until later they charged me £4 for them …. Definitely not reasonable prices. Check the price of all items before these pirates Rob you like they did me..!
Is it strange to have a favourite petrol station?! The staff here are so super friendly & helpful you can't help but smile =)
Cheap fuel, good range in shop & the coffee machine has a good choice of flavour syrups = bonus.
If you are leaving Cornwall in a road trip this is the place to fuel up. ⛽️
This has to be the friendliest and most helpful service station in the country.
When I expressed disappointment that their daily delivery of delicious pasta de natas had all gone, the delightful lady behind the counter suggested that next time I am passing to phone ahead and reserve one. She was serious too. That's above and beyond what you expect from an A road service station.

Prices for a main A road are usually reasonable.
The people serving are really lovely and helpful. They always have a cheery smile, which makes the pain of filling up your tank just a little easier! :-)
If there was a 0 star it would be stopping of to the toilet and to grab some lunch. I ran in and asked kindly to use the toilet see said round the corner I asked if it was behind her counter outside she said yes the toilet was nice and clean. However when I come back out to my family who had gone in after me to ask where the toilet was she sent them round the back of the bus to some portaloos that where the most discussing things I have ever seen and smelt in my life ???? my partner was so angry that she had told me where the toilet was but noone else he went in to her ask why she did that and got the response that the toilet was for customers only and she thought I had got out of a car that had just fueled up we where going to go back to the shop for some things for lunch after we had used the toilet but he was so angry at this point for making he's mum go to the portaloos that she couldn't even use he sent her to the toilet and said we are not spending any money here now let's move on. Discussing behaviour do not go here.
