Americans beware - this station is not manned for cash payment, no toilets, and does not accept American credit cards. Luckily a local was pumping his gas and let us pay him in cash and he used his card for us. Only saving grace.
Called in for a refuel on a car camping/kayaking trip for my YouTube channel More Than Just a Cleaner.
It's unmanned and fuel is card/phone payment only.
Two of the pumps weren't working!
Used the pressure washer to wash my car and stopped with 2 minutes left on the timer, there's no one there to ask on a Sunday, I get it but we are in 2023. Surface of garage area breaking up with rebars poking up through the concrete.
This place has pumps that either don't work or don't take card. I tried a visa and amex and nothing would work. It's un staffed and just a dump.
Great place to take photos of sunset ????and to fill up with fuel.
Helpful staff, managed to pick up a part for my trailer electrics that I had a problem with. (costs were a little high but reasonable enough given its an isolated spot with a captive audience). proper garage not just a fuel stop.
Out of fuel or broken more often than not. Better off with Tyndrum 15 miles down the road
