Beautiful restaurant with a lovely, comfortable decor, can accommodate a few people, even though it is not that big. Staff are very helpful, kind and knowledgeable of products, dishes and ingredients. The dishes that we tried were absolutely out of this world. Loved the lentil soup starter and I would totally have it again and recommend to everyone to try. Also the food was not that spicy, so suitable for everyone!!
NO TASTE. Went here a year ago, it was bad, went here today for lunch, it was WORSE.
Instead of curry lunch we got lentil soup and tomato soup with 4 bits of chicken as mains.
Saga loo was blended spinach with a bit of chilli and roasted potatoes. NEVER AGAIN, give up.
Food was ok. Service was hit and miss the waitress seemed to be trying to put us off ordering certain things???? My main (roasted veg) wasnt great. Really nice barman though very helpful
A short walk just north of West Hamstead tube station. Tried the butter chicken and it tasted slightly watered down with insufficient spice. Friendly staff but otherwise there's better spots on the same block.
The food is always very good but you have to look past the fairly dated and sometime dirty looking interior. The staff is always friendly and helpful.
The menu is very intriguing and not just the normal! We’ve tried most dishes and is always very satisfied with the taste and portion sizes
They also do take aways which I can imagine must be very convenient and definitely a must for those cold and wet winter nights!
I would recommend the place if you looking for a good Indian dish that is well priced and taste good.
Staff is very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend the punjabi samosa chaat from the street food menu..
Guglee used to be our favourite Indian Restaurant that we took many of our friends and recommended to a lot to people. The food was always delicious and service quality was great.
However, just been there few days ago, I was quite disappointed to see that the whole look&feel was in a bad state, seats were torn, tables were damaged, service quality was terrible, bathroom taps were literally broken, toilets not clean. When we asked for a coffee after dinner, we were told they only serve coffee at lunch, when we said it’s nonsense they replied that their coffee machine is broken.
Unfortunately, we’ll no longer go there. Do not recommend to anyone either.
Went to Guglee for dinner and loved it! The staff were friendly and helpful and recommended really good choices for me and my friend. I had one of their favourites the butter chicken and the waitress said she could ask the chef to make it a bit spicy too. It was super delicious and I would eat again! Also special mention for the garlic naan as it was great. Well priced and quick service. Highly recommended.
