I called GTA and spoke direct to the owner who is also a mechanic..following conversations with other local mechanics regarding the replacement of a sump on a Mercedes E-Class.
Many individuals were hesitant and could not give me a timescale or price bracket to complete my request.
Using the latest systems/technology Simon was able to give me an upfront estimate and timeframe.
The works were complete in the agreed timeframe to my satisfaction at the price agreed upon booking the repair.
Two things to keep in mind are:
1/The workshop is very busy and I would highly recommend booking in advance if possible.
2/Only quality parts will be fitted in this workshop to your vehicle, therefore all of the parts they supply are purchased from reputable companies with valid warranty.
Really good advice and service from here, my go too guy for sure with my mercedes.
Noticed problems that will have effected alot more with my vehicle in time whicb helped with any money being spilled!

Simon is the King of Mechanics and we wouldn't take our cars anywhere else.
On a trip to Porthmadog my car suddenly lit up like a Christmas tree with the warning lights. ABS system etc. brake pedal bouncing underfoot. Although drivable I couldn’t take a chance. Called into this garage on the recommendation of my hotel. Had a chat with the owner who I assume is Simon, and left my car with him.He called me back an hour or so later with the diagnosis. Despite having a lot of other work to do, he squeezed me in and by 8:30 am the following morning my car was sorted! Top bloke! Didn’t rip me off like some garages would have, and he went through everything he had done including a breakdown of the cost. Can’t praise this guy or his garage enough. My holiday was totally uninterrupted, thanks to him. Highly recommend using him if you need a garage or you have a car problem.

Simon at GTA has fixed my car twice now. My car is ALWAYS breaking in one way or another. This last time was a leak in a pipe connecting to my gearbox. I live over two hours away from GTA. I have seen three mechanics in my area who quoted me prices ranging from hundreds to a couple of grand and a big part of me thinks that it's because I'm a woman and don't know much about cars. I drove 2hrs and took my car in for simon to just have a look at it. It was also making a screeching noise so I mentioned that. I was only expecting him to give the car a glance to see what needed doing and I would drive down at a later date for it to actually get fixed. However, within a few hours, the leak and the screeching noise was fixed. My back box is getting fixed next week and ALL of that costs less than the quotes I was given by other mechanics just to fix the leak. Last year when my car broke down, I was quoted "at least 2 grand" by the mechanics in my area. Once again, Simon fixed the problem (and fixed a couple of other things before they became a problem) for £170. I really can't recommend this garage enough. They don't take advantage of women who don't have a clue. Their prices are amazing. They do it all in record time and are generally just amazing. I used to live in the area and mechanics in penrhyn ripped me off all the time. Only wish I'd visited this garage before I moved away. Could have saved a fortune!
Top garage We encountered a brake problem the day before we travelled home from holiday. Managed to get the car to them at 3pm and it was done by 5pm. Very thorough diagnostic and feedback. Great service and many thanks.
Simon was great. He only did a small job for me but was very pleasant, accommodating and knowledgeable.
