Quite a bit more expensive for diesel than petrol stations in the Lake District towns.
The highlight of this convenient petrol station on the A595 is that the "par excellence" Lindsay Coffee Trailer is located here. She makes great coffee & snacks. No one else to match for miles on this route!
Pleasant experience, reasonably priced fuel.
Nice and unexpected little local fuel stop.
Staff were very friendly. Fuel prices were same as others in the area. Cold drinks, sandwiches, snacks, simple non perishables, grocery and bits for the car are available in the shop.
Really nice little toastie/coffee/cake van outside too, which was a pleasant surprise. The toasties were delicious.
I visited Grizebeck Service Station recently and it was a most enjoyable experience.
It is a Gulf petrol station.
First of all access and exit from the petrol station is good.
The petrol pumps are modern pumps and dispense fuel quickly and efficiently.
There are plenty of petrol pumps to choose from so you do not have wait long for a petrol pump.
There is also a shop attached to the petrol station which is convenient if you need any provisions.
I would recommend a visit to the Grizebeck Service Station.
Excellent! They sell LPG still while many major chain garages no longer do; a service motorhomers are grateful for. Filled up with desiel for a reasonable price too. The woman that served me was friendly and passed the time of day with me. As a visiting motorhomer keen to use local shops and services this was perfect!
Average fuel price for the area but wouldn't take a business fuel card with chip. Also really poor options for snacks. Fine if you only want fuel and will be paying by cash or personal bank card.
One of only 2 places in the whole of West Cumbria (that I know of that sells vehicle LPG) Always a friendly welcome. Handy little shop as well.
