This is a wonderful traditional bakery with a super friendly staff. They have some great options for artisanal breads and more traditional favourites. Great selection of sandwiches and sweet treats, and hot food too.

My two cents though, the monster chip butty would benefit from a base of butter. I ordered mine with no sauce because I didn't want a dominating taste... Just chips and bread (buttered). It was not, so it was quite dry.
On Linda's recommendation, we tried the rosemary and garlic ciabatta, and also the mushroom, bacon and onion focaccia. Both were really lovely. They will become a regular order!
I had a sausage and black pudding sandwich, it was excellent. Cooked to order, with a choice of different types of top quality sausage all in a freshly baked bread roll! Superb!
Lovely bread (with a good variety of traditional types and 'new' styles) Scones, teacakes, croissants and cakes - I've tried and liked them all! Very popular for breakfast and lunchtime sandwiches too.
I was new to the Rothbury area and I had no idea where to go and I stumbled across this little bakery, the service was amazing very helpful and friendly staff I had curry and chips and then a mozzarella salami and tomato panini all completely reasonably priced and absolutely delicious I would definitely recommend to anyone coming into the area to support a small business.
Absolutely the best bought sourdough wholemeal I've ever had! Vanilla slice was a bit disappointing
