I've known Anthony for more years then I'd care to remember but I only moved back to Darwen from "Foreign Parts" (the wilds of Greater Manchester) recently so I had to find a new MOT/repair place.
Fortunately I landed on Greens and I've been going to both Steve and Anthony since I was allowed back into town. :-) I had my jabs and everything.
They both are spot on. Jobs well done, decent pricing, nice blokes, plenty of amusing chat and most excellent service. Couldn't ask for better.
Brilliant service very professional friendly and welcoming. Would advice anybody to go there too!

A pleasant waiting area to watch how things are going, ask questions and talk to other customers. You can also get yourself a brew, keeps hands warm when it's cold.

After a booking problem at my usual garage, I contacted Green Garages to see if they had any availability after the great reviews online.
Steve and Green garages didn't disappoint. Steve was helpful, professional and courteous at all times. Steve was able to squeeze my car in timely, complete my MOT and was kind enough to wait before closing as I needed my car for work.
My car passed its MOT but I know if it hadn't, I was in the best possible hands. The experience at green garages was fantastic and after many negative experiences navigating the car business as a woman wishing to have an older car and spend time repairing it myself. My experience was not only a relief, but I felt safe. Everything was explained clearly, there was enough time to discuss and ask questions and a card will be posted to remind me next year.
Generally a great customer experience, many thanks to Steve and rest of team, see you next year!
Rang for brakes and disks £100 cheaper than the quote I was given elsewhere. Dropped off my car dinner time done the same day. I was struggling to pick my key up due to working hours he was kind enough to post through my door on his way home. Would definitely recommend and will use again.
I can't recommend Tony and Greens Garage and Steve at the MOT centre enough. They are friendly people who will explain issues to you.
Tony will fit parts supplied by the owner if requested and go out of his way to explain what he has done regarding the job. He has often provided a pick up a delivery service when I have been busy, a lot of the times without me asking. His work is always excellent and when I have popped in with issues, he has been very accomodating when booking my car in.
Steve has done my MOTs for years and the car is 18 years old now so it's going to have some issues. He has explained these issues when I have asked and even shown me whilst doing the test. I have left my car there for MOTs and when it has failed, Tony has rung up to tell me what the issues are and has sorted them out before a retest, this makes it wasier for me as I have faith in them both. I can just pickup the car with a fresh ticket. Thanks Lads
Needed mot for motorbike managed to bag a place at greens with 24hr notice. Extremely friendly and helpful. Bikers for bikers will use again
Anthony is such a great guy - honest and straight which is all you want in a mechanic. Really value his advice and help
