Two days ago we ordered a kebab and went large and received a lovely box of meat salad and chips. Today we ordered the same and got a small box even though we asked to go large. Phones them and got told they had changed the boxes. What a load of c..p how can they say a small box is now a large in two days.
I cannot sing the praises of Great Wall enough. Over the last two years it’s become a weekly institution.
The staff are always friendly, and despite how popular it is, there’s never a long wait. What’s more, everything is cooked fresh. And goodness can you tell the difference from other fish and chip shops.
Great atmosphere, staff, value for money and tasty fresh food. Cannot fault them at all. Thank you Team Great Wall! ????
Best local fish shop in the area. I would highly recommend the masala fish bites, they are very tasty. Also the fish fillet burger is very nice, and made fresh using battered fish.
The food portions are generous and priced well. Staff are friendly and kind too.
There is also seating incase you want to eat in.
10/10 overall, this is now my go to spot for fish and chips!
This is a little gem. There is a wide range of fish, some regular size others large. All food is cooked fresh in front of you. On average it is a 10 minutes wait but well worth it!
This is new - these are lovely people providing good tasty chips and the odd free sausage. Try it.
Great place with tasty masala fish. We make big orders from here for work, and they've always been on point. Today they even stayed open for us over by 20 minutes. I will recommend anyone to the great wall.
