Great place for the Chinese your missing in your life (the food not person) yeah been going too often, who can blame me the food is so good. Just like home cooked food at home ????????
Give it a miss, rude service, and less than average food. They only take cash which is a fiddle.
Not a great first impression
I used to use Great Wall probably about 25 years ago when I lived nearby. I drove past it a week ago and decided to give it a go as I'd had a few disappointing takeaways from different restaurants.
Great Wall is by far the best Chinese food I have eaten in years. It's how this food used to taste. Not greasy or oily. I will be returning there with a big order this weekend.
Been using them for years, always been great.
This place cannot hack a busy Saturday night. The last three times I've ordered I've been told 30 to 40 minutes, on each occasion the food hasn't arrived before the hour mark. Just be honest and tell me how long it will take! Final straw was tonight, I arrived to pickup my order 40 minutes after calling, no order on record! Apparently their system deleted some orders. I had to re-order and wait another half hour whilst my Indian (food, not person) sat in the car getting cold! Shambles, will not be returning.
Just like Trums wall, not so great.
Not sure what happened to the food here, but after lockdown it has gone downhill.
Food was extremely greasy.
The chicken chow mein was hard and tasted like it was microwaved.
Didn’t give this one start because the price is still quite decent.
But I wouldn’t come back if it continues to be like this
The menu has a vast range of dishes, vegetarian and non, cooked perfectly. Also, the portions are huge and the menu is not expensive at all. They offer takeaway service, which never disappointed me, being it timely and efficient. Very good Chinese takeaway, I would recommend trying their dishes!
Goodness me. Where do i start!! Firstly, dad didn’t have barely ANY black bean sauce on his noodles. Secondly, MUMS CHOWMEIN DIDNT EVEN COME!! and buy the time it did (after we rang) we had already finished. The lemon chicken wasn’t cooked and pretty sure it made mum ill. Not happy with the service here !!!!
