Lovely hosts and really delicious food, clearly using great quality ingredients. We had a sourdough pizza and a really gorgeous and delicately spiced veggie soup with a vintage cheddar and chili jam sourdough roll. Very much recommended spot in beautiful Grassington
Despite visiting the Yorkshire Dales many times, somehow I'd never been to Grassington, somehow it had slipped me by, but so glad we found the pretty village. The place was bustling with little shops & plenty of Cafes / eateries. Which one to choose? Well my rule of thumb, when unsure, especially given plenty of choice, is to choose the cafe, just out of earshot than the ones clumped together in the center of a village/ town. Generally they have to try just that bit harder to get the business & offer something that bit better. This little cafe / Deli farm shop, just outside the main village square, on the main road, didn't disappoint on all counts! My Cafe/ Inn theory is proven yet again. ????.
The homemade sausage roll, was Amazing! Combined with the owners, mother in law's homemade tomato chutney. Off the scale!!. Then the homemade Flapjack! I genuinely would put this in my top 5 Flapjack's experienced, ever!! The crunch was unique, but still chewy. We really should of purchased more!!. Next time. Plus, quite possibly the largest decent Cappuccino I can remember. Highly recommended. ????????
Really shouldn’t be selling itself as a farm shop. Had barely anything available on a Friday morning, not sure about other times. It might be a nice cafe, but we didn’t go back to find out. Even if the farm produce area was full,it’s just a very small shelf area in one corner of the cafe. Very disappointing, would have been better if just marketed as a cafe.

You may be rebranding, and that’s great. I’d suggest you start with your name and online profile, it would be easy to be clear that you are a cafe, possibly a good one. We travelled about 40 minutes to Grassington to visit a ‘farm shop’, telling us you’re not one when we get there is not helpful. I leave good reviews for many small companies (see my profile), but why should I say nothing about a disappointing experience, just leaves other people to be disappointed too. If you want better reviews, sort your name and online marketing out.
Lovely small deli/cafe serving tasty food. Had a delicious sandwich served in giant sourdough roll. Some interesting & tasty products for sale to takeaway too. Some items are expensive like the bread & ground coffee, but they are very nice so worth it as a treat sometimes. Only slight downside with cafe is limited seating due to size & limited toilet facilities, but well worth walking 50yds from the main square of Grassington for their sandwiches alone... Best I've had in any cafe in the village. ????
Great find. Just outside of the centre with tasty home made food, dog friendly and great service.
Visited today. Lovely place for lunch. Delicious food that is local or homemade. Staff were friendly and helpful. Well done.
Great selection of homemade sandwiches. We got the ploughmans, beef and lamb kebab. All incredibly fresh and delicious. Also a large selection of deli items and tasty cakes. Would highly recommend a visit. The fresh veg looked great and they now offer pizzas to take away and bake at home, with an interesting variety of toppings
Arrived 15 minutes before they were due to close but, despite delaying them, all the staff were so friendly. Bought 4 fresh made sandwiches that were absolutely beautiful. Fantastic shop. 100% coming back next time I'm in Yorkshire
