We called in on our recent holiday. What a fabulously helpful and friendly shop. We had the venison burgers tonight. Absolutely first class! DELICIOUS. Would highly recommend this butcher
I've been using this butcher for 20+ years they have become friends, the quality of the products they sell has never been in doubt. They even managed to get me wild boar a few years back. Buy some venison burgers you won't regret it.
Extremely helpful and welcoming. I was expecting outrageous pricing on the haggis as it's considered the best but just like the rest of the meat it was all very well priced.
Best haggis I’ve ever tasted. Apparently it came 2nd in a recent competition. More subtle in flavour that all the others I have had in the past and in my opinion better for it. I would say this butcher gives a damn about his produce. His staff are nice too. Very welcoming and knowledgeable on their meat. Will definitely swing by next time I’m passing.
Update on last review. Stopped by on my way from Oban to Crianlarich for a haggis. Ended up with short rib, beef cheeks, lamb chops, stewing steak, and bacon! Oh, and the haggis! The lady behind the counter was lovely and funny and I could have talked to her for hours. Then the butcher came out and had a chat and gave me a couple of bones for the dog. Quality of the meat and service can't be beaten. Hope they did well in the haggis comp. Absolutely top notch butcher, cannot fault it.
