If I’m ever around this area at work I plan to a break around West Kirby (usually Sunday’s) and I use this restaurant, reasonably priced and they always serve you fresh food. Very pleasant staff too. Highly recommended.
First visit back since new owners. They themselves were extremely friendly and welcoming. The chicken chow mein was not good. The meat was edible but the noodles were just a pile of stodge. Couldn’t eat it. The salt and pepper chicken and chips were delicious and would have them again. Very tasty and full of flavour. The bbq sauce was not to our taste had a strong kick of something but not bbq.
We were recommended Grange Chippie by a friend. We ordered fish, chips and hot curry sauce. We thought the meal was good - crispy fish, and the chips were not greasy

OVERALL:Don't try.
We visit every year with our scouts on a night ride. Autumn 2023 was great, amazing chips, curry sauce was great, spring rolls perfect, and fortune cookies a favourite.
1st an last time tonight...Good portions but lacking quality.....think yesterday's chips..

Been here a few times and it's been fine. Yesterday, however, bought chips at 6pm and they were dreadful. Literally cut the roof of mouth trying to eat them. I was served a huge portion and guessing they were reheated from lunch time and they were trying to get rid. Given 2 stars as previous experience has been good but penny pinching like this will only harm the business.
Sweet and sour king prawn, beef curry and both meals with rice. Generous portions
