Awful pharmacy. Still insist on 1 person in and wearing masks?. Pretty obvious that the covid rule is convenient hence why they now keeping it ( hospitals do not even require a mask now?). Old and vulnerable people made to que in all weather's. If someone already inside you cannot got in!?. You have too wait on a staff member coming out to hand prescription or querie too, and that wait can be half an hour just to hand it over never mind receive it.
When approching staff regarding this he was rude and unprofessional. I could understand it if their staff members lived in a bubble when not at work but the same staff members that insist on this are the same staff members using public services/ shops etc without masks and with alot more than 1 member of the public at the same time.
Since the switch to Holm farm it has slowly deteriorated and can safely say that it now deserves the reputation it has!.
Nice chemist to go to, but if you are in a hurry I wouldn't recommend this chemist always a queue and very busy and still have the 1 person in the shop rule and make you stand out in the cold and rain to wait for the prescription to be done.
On arrival at Southerness Holiday Park my husband noticed he had came down without his meds.
I phoned G.R Blount on the off chance they would be able to help him.
Told them what meds he needed,was told to leave it with them and they would send me a code when they were ready to pick up.
Didn't even need to go into the pharmacy as there is a vending type machine at the side where the code is entered resulting in a bag with the relevant meds being dispensed. Amazing service and a lifesaver at that,can't thank them enough.
If you like queuing up for half an hour everytime and for them not to have what you need ever go to this pharmacy ..it's the absolute worst

Very handy in same building as GP practice. Very helpful staff when aunts medication didn't turn up ( not their fault ) .
