Night in with my dad. Had the mammoth kebab and a garlic bread with cheese. Kebab was amazing and was huge(clues in the name!!) garlic bread was beautiful and not greasy at all. Really enjoyed the food took 45 minutes to deliver but it was a Friday night
I have just ordered a peri peri chicken fillet burger. Been my favourite for years. Very disappointed i have re shared this post as it is spot on.

What made them stand out was the quality of food, the bread rolls and the chicken were the best
Sadly, it started with the change of rolls, then chicken fillet (absolutely no way chicken fillet anymore) and the final straw being served on stale bread
Such a shame
Will not be going again, they clearly don't care anymore
Terrible. Have been coming to Ggs on and off for a few years, however the last few times it has noticeably gone downhill. Placed an order at 6.58pm (to be precise) received an order confirmation, food still hadn't arrived by 8.10, rang the shop who had no record of my order!! i was told they have a new website, erm how am I to know this?? at the point I was ready to eat my arm... so when the guy offered to take the order and deliver in 20m I agreed, I had 2 hungry kids mithering me asking when the food would arrive, food came 30m after the call, well for a start no biggy but I ordered n paid extra for a square garlic bread n cheese with stuffed crust, got sent a circular one that wasn't piping hot! and my god the chicken strips in the kids meal are the worst I've ever tasted, literally gone in the bin!! hardly fresh moist fried chicken!! i rang the shop for the 3rd time to complain about the g bread situ but the man claims he misunderstood and I wasn't charged the full amount, haven't even got a receipt to check n tbh cba. Will not be returning here sadly!! In my experience a good establishment will be really apologetic and offer a discount or throw something extra In as a gesture of good will... didn't happen here therefore won't be ordering from here again.

For a cheap takeout that I’ve eaten from relentlessly since lockdown in 2020 I can’t say I’ve ever had a bad meal from here. My go to was chicken burger and curly fries for a while, but the last 5 or 6 times I’ve had a hotdog and honestly the best hotdogs I’ve had. Better than smokehouses or German markets. Will buy from here time and time again until the food itself proves me wrong ????
I ordered the meat supremo of the menu, all fine and well as we’ve ordered from here before, then find a sharp piece of glass in my food, absolutely stunned to speak, i go to call the restaurant to tell them and ask what’s going on, they picked up despite it saying they’re closed, i explain my situation and the man on the phone was shouting, being rude. So i give it back and tell him that he’s not only being rude but unprofessional and he hangs up! honestly will never order from here again. if you do decide to order from here, take a hard look at what your about to eat because that is dangerous
Never tried this place before and will never go back. The burger wasn't thoroughly cooked and had pink bits inside. Also the man who served me had disgusting finger nails. If I noticed before I paid I'd have walked out.
Absolutely disgusting. We ordered a pizza meal.(2 10" pizza's, a 10" Garlic bread and 2 cans of Pepsi.) It took 2 hours for our food to arrive, we rang up an hour after we ordered it to be told it was on its way and we would get a free bottle of Pepsi as an apology.when it arrived, it wasn't even the full order and it was only luke warm. I rang up telling them some of our order was missing and they said we will send it and it will be 20 minutes. An hour later it arrived. I am NEVER ordering from there again. 0/10 from me.
