Absolutely fantastic thin crust pizza. The people who rate this lower don’t know thin crust. It could use a bit more cheese but that is compensated for with the nice crust. No flop or wetness. Slice stays upright when you hold it. I give it 5 stars. The staff were also great
I got a Margherita pizza. It was ok, not the best ever. The mac ‘n cheese are quite good.
Pizza is quite decent, nice, light and very tomatoey. Freshly made in store as far as I can tell, unlike some takeaway chain pizza.
Staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome. Primarily a takeaway so not too much seating space, but some seats along the windows.
We thought it was a sit down location, but the staff were very helpful accommodating us. Take away was not an option for us at the time so we ate at the window. Crispy crust, salivating tomato sauce and the topping were filling.
Really quite good! I got the puttanesca pizza, kid got the pepperoni. Good size pies, good toppings; they didn't skimp out on the toppings like some places. Good dough also. ONLY COMPLAINT: Their gluten free crust is bad; a place like this can do better (Franco Manca has better gluten free crust). It's laid back but you should still probably get there early to avoid the rush.
Average, average, average.
Dough was the highpoint.
Tomato sauce, swimming in it and no herbs.
Not enough cheese or topping, like really short on it.
Topping was averagely tasty but not special and not worth the price.
Cheese was Ok, again nothing special.
And chop the basil. Who wants a whole leaf to chow down on.
really good! i don’t get the bad reviews! the pizza is light and delicious! really thin crust, combined with a amazing tomato sauce and cheese!!! can’t go wrong!
I would eat here again but a bit disappointed. The Pizza's are decent for the price but you wouldn't be missing much by going to a good chippy at half the price instead. The sugo they use isn't that good and the overall taste of the Pizza is a bit... American. I was hoping for more flavour which this Pizza just did not have.
If you want good Italian pizza, Salerno and Café Maradonna are places in Edinburgh for a high-quality meal. Around the same price but in a totally different league.
