The hotel was the NCO Mess, so anyone with any connection with the RAF will great a buzz staying here. ||The room was excellent. A good size with plenty of room to move about. Everything was spotless and was very warm. ||Breakfast was excellent. We opted for just cereal and toast which you can help yourself to. The cooked breakfast we saw being served were good portions. ||For the price, we will definitely be staying again, infact we have already booked for a return visit. A great base to see family up north.

A fabulous meal at the Terminal 1 Thai restaurant at Goosepool Cafe. Friendly staff and authentic Thai food. We had a table for 9 and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We are already planning a return visit. This is a real hidden gem that's worth checking out. Lots of choice, time between courses to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. 100% recommend this to anyone who appreciates Thai cuisine. Fantastic

Stayed here , 3 of us in one room, we were quite dubious due to reviews but boys on a bike trip we just needed to put our head down.|We were pleasantly surprised, place was clean tidy and refurbished and the beds were very comfy. Bathroom was a little dated but shower was hot and strong enough. Bar was fine and breakfast was cereal and croissant which was fine.|Very good value for money and would definitely use again if ever that way.|

Arrived late in the evening for a one night stay, staff member was welcoming booked us in and told where our room was. The room was beautifully decorated, clean and quiet, the bed could do with replacing but on the whole a nice room especially for the price. Breakfast in the morning of cereal, tea and brioche with nice friendly staff. Would stay here again.

The Goosepool is a great place to stay for a night or two. The staff are friendly and helpful and the price reflects the standard of décor and location, its value for money, not the Ritz! Despite it being an Airport hotel, my stay was extremely quiet and the hotel felt secure and secluded.

This is the second time we have been for Sunday lunch at the Goosepool Hotel. We live in the village, Middleton St George and walked down. The cooked meats were tender and good quality, the choice of veg was good and it was nice and fresh. It was clean and tidy, staff friendly and helpful. Great experience!
