What a fantastic new place to eat. My husband had deliciously crispy fish and chips; perfectly cooked with a thin batter. Large portion of fish with an appropriate amount of chips, not tons of half cooked soggy but properly fried, crispy and hot. I had the vegetarian paneer tikka butter masala with plain rice. I asked for it spicy and it had great heat without being overpowering. Reena was our server and she was so friendly and attentive! Definitely come back soon!
First time visiting Good Cod (Hillingdon) and so pleased with my first order of Fish & Chips. Both were cooked to perfectly, a nice thin batter on a good size piece of cod with a good amount of chips. I didn't realise the extensive menu option so sure will be returning to try something else.
The staff were welcoming and I was told there would be a 6 min wait so opted to wait in the car adjacent to the shop. It came as a lovely surprise when one of the staff came out to my car with my order!

Definitely worth the money!
I got the Donner kebab and chips which was really flavourful and delicious. The chips are fish and chips shop style with the salt and vinegar which I thought was really nice. I had a taste of their grilled chicken tikka which was also perfectly seasoned. Amazing job ????

My recent dining experience at Good Cod on Long Lane in Hillingdon, was nothing short of exceptional, an epitome of excellent food and service.
From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted by the amazing service that set the tone for the evening.
The staff were incredibly polite and friendly, ensuring that every aspect of the meal was perfect.
The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the Paneer Tikka Roll, a masterpiece of flavours, wrapped in the most delicate and soft naan bread. Every bite of this roll was a delightful journey through rich and aromatic spices. The accompanying crispy chips were a perfect complement, fried to golden perfection and seasoned just right, making them irresistible.
The ambiance of Good Cod exuded warmth and comfort, making it easy for anyone to become a regular.
Moreover, the attention to detail in both the presentation of the food and the upkeep of the restaurant is amazing.

Just moved to the area, and this is quite literally the best chippy I’ve ever tried.
The chips are amazing and so tasty, really soft and fluffy. And the fish is extra crispy, and stays crispy for hours, unlike other places that make their fish soggy.
Popped in there after the FA cup semi finals at Wembley, so never been there before. Ordered fish and chips £8.99. A very reasonable price.
They were superb, fish was delicious and the chips excellent.As good as any I have eaten . Good size portion. Would definitely use again .
